I. Product specifications

(1) Size requirements

Please specify the length, width and height of the clay brick you need (unit: mm). We provide a variety of standard sizes, such as 230×114×65mm, 230×114×75mm, 230×114×32mm and so on. The size of arch brick is 230×114×65/55mm, 230×114×65/45mm, etc. The dimensions of wedge-shaped bricks are 230×114×65/55mm and 230×114×65/45mm, etc. If you have special size requirements, please specify, and we will make customized production according to your requirements.

If your project needs a large number of bricks of different sizes, please make a detailed size list, including the quantity requirements of each size brick, so that we can accurately evaluate the production plan and cost.

(2) Shape requirements

In addition to the common straight, arch and wedge bricks, if you need clay bricks with special shapes, such as runner brick, cast steel bricks, round bricks, kiln car bricks, steel lining bricks, large slab bricks, glass kiln bricks, hanging bricks, checker bricks, carbon furnace bricks, anchor bricks and round hole bricks, please provide detailed shape descriptions or drawings. Drawings should include the outline of bricks, the dimensions of each part and the matching relationship with adjacent bricks, so that we can make molds and produce bricks accurately.

II. Chemical Composition and Physical Properties

(1) chemical composition requirements

You can put forward specific requirements for the chemical composition of clay bricks according to the actual use scenarios. For example, the content of alumina (AL₂O₃) is an important factor affecting the performance of clay bricks. The alumina content of our clay bricks is generally in the range of 30%-85%. If you have a specific range of alumina content requirements, please point it out clearly so that we can choose suitable raw materials for production.

At the same time, there are certain restrictions on the contents of other chemical components such as iron (Fe₂O₃) and other impurities. Our standard is that the FeO content should not exceed 2.5% (for some special products such as high alumina bricks, the FeO content is lower, such as 2.0%). If you have stricter requirements on impurity content, please let us know and we will take corresponding measures to control it.

(2) Physical performance requirements

Refractory degree: Refractory degree refers to the performance index that bricks do not soften at high temperature. The fire resistance of our clay bricks is generally in the range of 1580 C-1850 C. Please specify the required fire resistance range according to the service temperature of your furnace and other high-temperature equipment, so that we can choose the appropriate raw material formula and production process to meet the requirements.

Load softening temperature: this is an index to measure the resistance to deformation of brick under the combined action of high temperature and pressure. For example, the load softening temperature (2 kg/cm) of SK-32 clay brick is not lower than 1350°C, and the load softening temperature (2 kg/cm) of SK-38 clay brick is not lower than 1560 C. Please specify the required load softening temperature according to your actual working conditions.

Apparent porosity: Apparent porosity affects the corrosion resistance and thermal insulation performance of brick. The apparent porosity of our clay bricks is generally less than 24%, and the apparent porosity of high alumina bricks is generally below 22%. If you have special requirements for apparent porosity, please let us know, and we will control it by adjusting the production process and raw material ratio.

Volume density: Volume density reflects the compactness of brick and affects its strength and wear resistance. For example, the bulk density of SK-32 clay brick is 2.0-2.1g/cm³, and that of SK-38 clay brick is 2.4-2.6g/cm³. Please specify the appropriate volume density range according to your use requirements.

Compressive strength at room temperature: this is an index to measure the ability of brick to resist pressure at room temperature. The room temperature compressive strength of our clay bricks is generally above 250 kg/cm, and the room temperature compressive strength of high-alumina bricks is higher, for example, the room temperature compressive strength of SK-38 clay bricks is not lower than 550 kg/cm. Please specify the required compressive strength at room temperature according to your actual use scenario.

Thermal expansion rate: the thermal expansion rate affects the dimensional stability of bricks during high temperature use. The thermal expansion rate of our clay bricks is between 0.4% and 0.7% (1000 C). If you have special requirements for thermal expansion rate, please let us know, and we will control it by optimizing raw material formula and production process.

Permanent linear change rate: this is an index to measure the dimensional change of brick after firing at high temperature. For example, under the condition of 1500°C×2Hrs, the change rate of permanent line is generally between 0 and-0.4%. Please specify the range of permanent line change rate according to your use requirements.

III. Quality Standards and Inspection Requirements

(1) Quality standards

We follow KS, JIS, ASTM, ASME, AMS, DIN and other international quality standards for production. If you have specific quality standards, please clearly point out that we will produce according to the standards you specify and ensure that the products meet the requirements of the standards.

(2) Inspection requirements

You can ask us to carry out specific inspection items in the production process. For example, in addition to our routine chemical analysis (including aluminum oxide, iron and other components detection), physical performance detection (such as fire resistance, load softening temperature, apparent porosity, etc.) and appearance inspection (including dimensional tolerance, deformation, cracks, corner defects, molten holes, color, etc.), if you need to add other special inspection items, such as ultrasonic flaw detection and X-ray detection, please inform us in advance.

IV. Packaging and Transportation Requirements

(1) Packaging requirements

Our standard packaging is to put clay bricks on a tray, fix them with PET packing tape and cover them with plastic film for protection. The standard export pallet size is 1000×1000mm, and the loading weight of each pallet is 1.0-2.0 tons. If you have special packaging requirements, such as using special packaging materials, adding protective measures for packaging (such as moistureproof, shockproof, etc.), changing the tray size or loading weight, please explain in detail, and we will design and adjust the packaging according to your requirements.

(2) Transportation requirements

We offer various modes of transportation, including 20-foot containers (which can carry 24 tons) and 40-foot containers (which can carry 28 tons). If you have any special requirements on the mode of transportation, such as the designated transportation company, transportation route and transportation time, please inform us in advance so that we can arrange a suitable transportation plan. At the same time, if you have requirements for cargo insurance during transportation, please specify the scope and amount of insurance, and we will assist you in handling relevant insurance procedures.

V. Delivery date and payment method

(1) Delivery date

Our standard delivery time is 10-40 days after the order is confirmed. The length of delivery depends on the complexity of your customization requirements, the number of orders and our production schedule. If you have urgent delivery requirements, please clearly tell us the specific delivery date requirements when placing an order, and we will try our best to give priority to production and strive to deliver the products in advance or on time.
