I. Use of sealing materials

II. Sealing measures during installation

The heat insulation material can prevent the temperature of the drainage sand from being too high, so that the drainage sand can be sintered and solidified at low temperature to form a protective film, thus sealing the gap between the nozzle brick and the seat brick.

Adjust the seal assembly: during installation, ensure the correct installation of the seal assembly (such as sealing ring, sealing washer, etc.). For example, the installation of the first seal assembly and the second seal assembly should be carried out from bottom to top to avoid the assembly difficulty caused by gravity.

III. Inspection and adjustment

Check the gap between brick joints: ensure that the gap between brick joints is not more than 2mm, the gap between rings is controlled between 1.5 and 2mm, and the longitudinal gap is 1 to 1.5~2mm. Brick joints should be straight and even to avoid wedge-shaped brick joints.

Treatment of special parts: For the welding seam or the deformed part of kiln body, use refractory mud or ceramic fiber board to make adjustment to ensure the stability and sealing of refractory bricks.

IV. Optimize installation details

Control the number of locking irons: at the lock, strictly control the number of locking irons, usually no more than 3 pieces, to avoid stress concentration caused by over-locking.

Uniform fastening: When locking the brick, ensure that the fastening degree of the inner and outer openings is consistent to prevent local wear caused by uneven fastening.
