I. Installation steps

(1) Preparation:

Rust removal of furnace plate: Before installation, the furnace wall plate must be derusted to ensure the surface is clean.

Welding of anchor pieces: according to the design requirements, weld anchor nails or bolts on the furnace wall plate, the position should be accurate, and the error should be strictly controlled.

(2) Module installation:

Installation sequence: first install the furnace top module, and then install the furnace wall module. The installation of furnace wall module should start from the bottom and proceed upward.

Module fixation: pass the aluminum silicate fiber module through the guide rod along the central hole and lean against the furnace plate, tighten the nut with a special wrench, and then unscrew the guide rod.

Installation of compensation blanket: after the modules are installed, the central plastic pipe is pulled out, the binding tape is disassembled, and the ceramic fiber compensation blanket is compressed and installed between modules.

(3) Surface modification:

Gap treatment: after installation, check the gap between modules, and the gap larger than 5mm needs to be filled with ceramic fiber compensation blanket.

Surface leveling: Flatten the surface of the module with a square board or other tools to ensure overall leveling.

(4) Treatment of special parts:

Connection between furnace top and furnace wall: at the connection between furnace top and furnace wall and wall to wall, compensation blankets should be compressed and laid.

Laying of refractory layer: For complex lining structure, such as middle and high-grade refractory fiber layer, it should be laid in layers according to the design requirements and fixed by anchors.

II. Precautions

Installation density: during installation, ensure that the density and quantity of aluminum silicate fiber felt meet the standard according to the design requirements of the furnace and kiln, and avoid adding or subtracting modules at will.

Sealing: At the joint of the module, high-temperature adhesive should be used for adhesion to ensure tight sealing.

Expansion treatment: After installation, aluminum silicate fiber felt will squeeze each other due to expansion, so a certain expansion space should be reserved during installation.

Anchor protection: the anchor system should be far away from the hot surface of the assembly to ensure that the metal anchor is at a relatively low temperature and improve its safety.

Through the above steps and precautions, the installation quality of aluminum silicate fiber felt in industrial furnaces can be ensured, thus improving the heat insulation effect and service life of furnaces.
