How To Reduce Heat Loss of Aluminum Silicate Fiber Paper in Industrial Furnace Insulation

In the thermal insulation of industrial furnaces, aluminum silicate fiber paper can effectively reduce heat loss in the following ways:

I. Low thermal conductivity

Aluminum silicate fiber paper has a very low thermal conductivity, usually between 0.03 and 0.17 W/m k. This low thermal conductivity makes it possible to effectively prevent heat from transferring from high temperature area to low temperature area, thus significantly reducing heat loss and improving energy utilization efficiency.

II. High-temperature thermal insulation performance

Aluminum silicate fiber paper can withstand high temperature up to 1300℃ and maintain stable heat insulation performance at high temperature. This high-temperature stability enables it to be used in the high-temperature environment of industrial furnaces for a long time without being deformed or damaged by high temperature.

III. Porous fiber structure

V. Sealing performance

Aluminum silicate fiber paper also has good sealing performance, which can be used to seal the expansion joint of furnace door and furnace body. Aluminum silicate fiber paper has good flexibility and machinability, and can be easily cut, folded and installed. This construction convenience enables the thermal insulation layer to closely adhere to the surface of the furnace body, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the thermal insulation layer.

VII. Significant energy-saving effect

Using aluminum silicate fiber paper as heat insulation material can significantly reduce the heat loss and energy consumption of industrial furnaces. For example, in some industrial furnaces, after using aluminum silicate fiber paper, the power saving can reach 38-40% and the power saving can reach 23-33%.

VIII. Chemical stability

Aluminum silicate fiber paper has excellent chemical stability and can maintain stable performance in harsh chemical environment. This enables it to be used for a long time in high-temperature equipment in chemical and metallurgical industries without being damaged by chemical corrosion.
