Ceramic fiber, also known as aluminium silicate fiber, are a new type of lightweight refractory material. The material has the advantages of light bulk density, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low heat conductivity, small heat capacity, small thermal expansion and good thermal insulation. After special processing, it can be made into Ceramic fiber module, ceramic fiber board, ceramic fiber felt, ceramic fiber rope ,ceramic fiber blanket, ceramic fibre paper and other products.

In order to better meet your personalized needs and ensure that the customized products meet your usage scenarios and performance requirements, the following is the description of the customization requirements for ceramic fiber blankets. Please read it carefully and fill in the relevant information according to the actual situation, so that we can provide you with accurate customized services.

I. Product specification requirements

(1) Size

Length: Please specify the required length range of ceramic fiber blanket in millimeters (mm). For example, whether the length you need is the standard size of 1000mm, 2000mm or other specific length. If the length has special requirements, if it needs to be cut into non-standard sizes, please specify the specific size and the allowable error range.

Width: Similarly, indicate the required width, such as 500mm, 1500mm, etc. If it is used for specific equipment or space, it is necessary to ensure that the width matches it accurately and explain its purpose so that we can better understand the rationality of the size requirements.

Thickness: The thickness of ceramic fiber blanket has an important influence on its thermal insulation performance. Common thicknesses are 50mm, 100mm, etc. You can choose according to the requirements of thermal insulation and thermal insulation effect in actual use scenarios. If there are precise requirements for thickness, if it must be within the error range of ±2mm, please clearly point out.

(2) Shape

Generally, the ceramic fiber blanket is rectangular. II. Performance index requirements

(1) Temperature range

Maximum service temperature: ceramic fiber blanket is mainly used for thermal insulation in high temperature environment. Please specify the maximum service temperature that the product needs to withstand, such as 1000℃ and 1200℃. This will directly affect our choice of suitable ceramic fiber material and production technology to ensure that the product can work stably at this temperature without performance degradation.

Minimum service temperature: If the ambient temperature of the product fluctuates greatly and there is low temperature, please indicate the minimum service temperature. For example, in some industrial equipment in cold areas, the lowest temperature may be as low as -20℃, so we need to ensure that the ceramic fiber blanket can still maintain good flexibility, not embrittlement, and normally play the heat insulation function.

(2) Thermal insulation performance

Thermal conductivity: Thermal conductivity is a key index to measure thermal insulation performance. You can specify the upper limit of thermal conductivity of the product at a specific temperature according to actual needs. For example, at 800℃, the thermal conductivity should be lower than 0.1 w/(m k). The lower thermal conductivity means better thermal insulation effect, but the cost may increase accordingly, so please make a balanced choice according to the actual economic budget and thermal insulation demand.

Heat capacity: For some scenes that require thermal response speed, such as equipment that rapidly heats up or cools down, ceramic fiber blankets with low heat capacity are more suitable. Please indicate whether there are any special requirements for heat capacity, if so, please give the specific numerical range.

(3) Mechanical properties

Tensile strength: During use, the ceramic fiber blanket may be subjected to certain tensile force. Please specify the required tensile strength range according to the actual application scenarios, such as whether it is necessary to bear the tension during equipment operation and the pulling during installation. For example, the tensile strength is required to be not less than 0.5 MPa.

Compressive resilience: If the ceramic fiber blanket is used in places that need frequent compression or elastic support, such as pipeline insulation, its compressive resilience should be considered. Please explain whether good compression resilience is needed and the percentage requirement of recovery after compression. For example, after 50% compression, the recovery rate should reach over 90%.

III. Surface treatment requirements

(1) Surface flatness

If the ceramic fiber blanket is used in occasions that require high surface flatness, such as the heat shield of precision instruments, please explain the required flatness standard. For example, the surface height difference should be controlled within 1 mm, so that the subsequent installation and use can ensure good contact and sealing performance.

(2) Surface coating

Is it necessary to add a special coating on the surface of ceramic fiber blanket? Such as waterproof coating, to prevent moisture penetration from affecting thermal insulation performance; Fire-proof coating to further enhance fire safety; Or a corrosion-resistant coating to resist the corrosion of certain chemicals. If there is such demand, please specify the type of coating, thickness requirements and expected protective effect.

IV. Requirements for installation and use environment

(1) Installation method

Please describe the installation method of ceramic fiber blanket, whether it is by pasting, binding, fastening or other means. If pasting is adopted, the type of adhesive and the substrate to be pasted shall be stated; If binding is adopted, the requirements for binding materials shall be provided. (2) Using environmental media

(1) color requirements

(2) Environmental protection requirements

If the products are used in places with strict environmental protection requirements, such as food processing and pharmaceutical industries, please indicate whether it is necessary to meet specific environmental protection standards, such as asbestos-free and low volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions, so that we can select raw materials that meet environmental protection standards for production.
