Standard size: Please make clear whether standard-sized high-alumina bricks are needed, such as common straight bricks (L×W×H, for example, 230mm×114mm×65mm), arch bricks (L×W×H/h, for example, 230mm×114mm×65mm/55mm) or wedge bricks (L× w× 55mm).
Customized size: If there are special size requirements, the length, width and height of the brick and the detailed size parameters of special shapes (such as special-shaped bricks, such as runner brick, cast steel bricks, round bricks, etc.) should be provided in detail, including the length, width, height, angle and radian of each part. It is best to provide clear drawings with dimensional accuracy requirements (such as ±0.5mm, etc.).
In addition to the common straight, arch and wedge bricks, if you need special-shaped high-alumina bricks, such as special-shaped bricks used in specific furnace parts, you need to clearly describe the shape characteristics, such as whether they are round, square, polygonal, with holes, with protrusions or grooves and other special structures, as well as the specific dimensions and positions of these special structures.
Alumina content: The alumina (AL₂O₃) content of high-alumina brick is one of the key factors affecting its performance. We provide high alumina bricks with different alumina content ranges, such as 30%-85% and other grades. Please specify the required alumina content range or specific value according to your use scenario and fire resistance requirements.
Restrictions on other chemical components: If there are any special requirements for other chemical components such as iron content (Fe₂O₃), for example, the iron content should not exceed a certain value (such as ≤2.0%), please indicate it.
Refractory: Refractory is a performance index to measure the non-melting of high-alumina bricks in high temperature environment. We have products with different fire resistance grades, such as SK-32 (fire resistance 1710°C) and SK-34 (fire resistance 1750°C). Please choose the appropriate fire resistance grade according to the working temperature of your furnace.
Load softening temperature: under the combined action of high temperature and pressure, the ability of high-alumina brick to maintain shape and performance is measured by load softening temperature. For example, the load softening temperature of SK-32 (2 kg/cm, t) ≥ 1350 C, SK-34 ≥ 1400 C, etc. Please specify the required load softening temperature range according to the actual use conditions.
Apparent porosity: Apparent porosity affects the corrosion resistance and thermal insulation performance of high alumina brick. Generally, the apparent porosity of our high-alumina bricks is within a certain range, such as ≤22%. If there are stricter requirements on apparent porosity, please let us know the specific value.
Volume density: Volume density reflects the density of high-alumina brick, which is related to its strength, wear resistance and other properties. For example, the bulk density of SK-32 is 2.0 ~ 2.1g/cm, and that of SK-34 is 2.1 ~ 2.2g/cm. Please specify the range of bulk density as required.
Compressive strength at room temperature: compressive strength at room temperature is a measure of the ability of high-alumina brick to resist pressure at room temperature. For example, the room temperature compressive strength of SK-32 is ≥ 250 kg/cm, and SK-34 is ≥ 350 kg/cm. Please determine the required compressive strength at room temperature according to the possible load in actual use.
Thermal expansion rate: the thermal expansion rate affects the dimensional stability of high-alumina bricks when the temperature changes. The thermal expansion rate of our products is within a certain range, such as 0.4 ~ 0.7% at 1000 C. If there are special requirements for thermal expansion rate, please provide specific numerical range.
Thermal shock resistance: Thermal shock resistance is the ability of high-alumina brick not to crack and peel off when the temperature changes sharply. If there are usage scenarios such as rapid temperature rise and fall, it is necessary to specify the requirements for thermal shock resistance, such as the requirements for the degree of damage after being subjected to thermal shock tests in a certain temperature range and times.
Temperature range: Please specify the maximum working temperature, minimum working temperature and temperature fluctuation range that the high-alumina brick will use.
