Adding white corundum to refractory castable can significantly improve the following properties:

I. Improving high temperature resistance

The main component of white corundum is alumina (Al₂O₃), and its melting point is above 2050°C, which can significantly improve the refractoriness of refractory castable. This makes the castable stable for a long time in high temperature environment and difficult to melt or deform.
