Ensuring the quality and performance of nozzle brick is the key factor to ensure the smooth continuous casting of steel. The following methods are based on the latest information summary to ensure the quality and performance of nozzle bricks:

I. Strictly control the quality of raw materials

The main raw materials of Shuikou brick include bauxite clinker, semi-soft clay, zirconium dioxide, clay clinker and so on. The quality of these raw materials directly affects the performance of nozzle brick. Therefore, raw materials must undergo strict physical and chemical inspection after entering the factory to ensure that their composition and properties meet the requirements.

II. Optimize the production process

Practical use test: test the performance of nozzle brick under simulated working conditions, such as thermal shock resistance test by rapid cooling and rapid heating cycle experiment.

Material innovation: develop new inorganic non-metallic materials, such as silicon carbide-based composite materials, to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties and chemical erosion resistance of nozzle bricks.
