Refractory plastic refractory is widely used in metallurgical industry, mainly in the following aspects:

I. Blast furnace

IV. Heating furnace

Furnace lining and furnace top: The heating furnace is used for heating steel billets at high temperature, and the furnace top and furnace lining can be constructed by using fire-resistant plastic refractory. Fire-resistant plastic refractory can withstand high temperature and resist chemical attack.

Wrapping of water-cooled pipes: In the heating furnace, fire-resistant plastic refractory is used to wrap the water-cooled pipes, which can effectively insulate and protect the water-cooled pipes.

V. Ladle and tundish

Lining material: Ladle and tundish are important equipment for containing and transporting molten steel during steelmaking. Fire-resistant plastic refractory is widely used for lining of ladle and tundish because of its good corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

Quick repair: Fire-resistant plastic refractory is easy to construct, and can quickly repair the lining of ladle and tundish, reducing downtime.

VI. Other metallurgical equipment

Hot-blast stove: Fire-resistant paint spraying is used for the dome and the inner side of the furnace shell of the hot-blast stove, and fire-resistant plastic refractory is also commonly used for local repair of the hot-blast stove.

Hot metal pretreatment device: refractory plastic refractory is used as the lining of hot metal pretreatment device, which can withstand high temperature and chemical erosion.
