There are significant differences in fire resistance between clay bricks and high alumina bricks, as follows:
Fire resistance range: about 1580℃-1750℃.
Features: It is suitable for medium high temperature environment and can meet the needs of general industrial furnaces.
Fire resistance range: above 1770℃, usually up to 1790℃.
Features: The fire resistance is significantly higher than that of clay brick, and it can withstand higher temperature, which is suitable for the harsh environment of high temperature, high strength and intensive chemical erosion.
Refractory difference between them
The fire resistance of high alumina brick is about 200℃-170℃ higher than that of clay brick, which makes high alumina brick more advantageous in high temperature environment.
