I. High temperature stability

Aluminum silicate fiber paper has excellent high temperature stability, its continuous use temperature can reach 1000℃, and its short-term use temperature can reach 1260℃. In these temperature ranges, fiber paper can keep its physical properties and shape, and it is not easy to deform.

II. Causes of possible deformation

Although aluminum silicate fiber paper has good high-temperature stability, it may still be deformed under certain conditions:

High temperature crystallization: In high temperature environment, the amorphous structure inside the fiber may crystallize, resulting in volume shrinkage and deformation.

Thermal stress accumulation: if the temperature distribution inside the equipment is uneven, or there is sudden cooling and rapid heating, thermal stress may occur inside the fiber paper, which may lead to deformation.

Impurity volatilization: impurities (such as Fe₂O₃) in fiber paper may volatilize at high temperature, resulting in material shrinkage and deformation.

Non-standard installation: if the fiber paper is not completely attached to the surface of the equipment or is not firmly fixed during installation, it may be deformed due to uneven stress at high temperature.

III. How to avoid deformation

In order to reduce the deformation of aluminum silicate fiber paper at high temperature, the following measures can be taken:

Choose high-quality materials: Using high-purity and low-impurity aluminum silicate fiber paper can significantly improve its deformation resistance.

Optimize the installation process: ensure that the fiber paper is closely attached to the surface of the equipment during installation and is firmly fixed to avoid deformation due to uneven stress.

Control the temperature change: try to avoid the sharp change of the internal temperature of the equipment and reduce the accumulation of thermal stress.

Regular inspection and maintenance: when used in high temperature environment, check the condition of fiber paper regularly and replace the damaged parts in time.

Generally speaking, aluminum silicate fiber paper has good stability in high temperature environment, but it may still be deformed under certain conditions. By selecting high-quality materials, optimizing installation process and controlling temperature change, the occurrence of deformation can be effectively reduced.
